Tailgate Horseshoes Strategy

"Tips, tricks and suggestions that might make you a better player.

The Toss - Serious players toss their discs underhand. It is recommended that the disc is squeezed lightly between the thumb and index finger much like a Frisbee.
The disc should spin or float off the thumb and index finger and maintain a flat arching trajectory that is somewhat parallel to the ground. Discs that flip end-over-end, or are perpendicular to the ground when they land, will generally roll off the board and deliver unsatisfactory results.

The Stance - Is extremely important to deliver consistent results. It is recommended that you always toss from the front of end of the board. Some players prefer to maintain a fixed position with their legs either apart or tightly together when tossing discs. Go with whatever stance is most comfortable for you. If successful tossing seems elusive, keep practicing you’ll get it!"
